PAYMENT

To secure your reservation, a deposit of 50% of your total stay is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance will be charged seven days before your arrival.

All room rates are quoted in Canadian funds and are based on double occupancy. Please note that applicable taxes of 15% HST are not included in the rates. A two-night minimum booking policy applies during the high season, which runs from June 1 to September 30.

CANCELLATIONS 

In the event of a cancellation, we offer a full refund if we receive notice at least 72 hours before your 3 PM check-in time. Please be aware that cancellations will incur a $30 administration fee per room, per day. Cancellations made within the 72-hour window will be charged the full amount, as they are non-refundable.

We understand that cancellations can happen, but we kindly ask for your understanding, as we are a small B&B with limited rooms and do not have the same capacity as larger hotels to rebook at short notice. Thank you for your understanding.

PETS

While our friendly yellow lab, Samara, resides here, we unfortunately have a no-pet policy.

GIFT CERTIFICATES 

If you plan to pay for all or part of your stay with a gift certificate, please contact us directly at 902-634-7150 to make your booking.

ADDITIONAL GUESTS 

All rooms at Ashlea House are priced for two guests. The Mayflower room can accommodate up to four guests which is perfect for families travelling to Lunenburg, with an additional fee of $50 per person, per night for those over the age of five.

Please note that children may not be left unattended in the rooms or common areas at any time.

CHECKING IN AND CHECKING OUT

Check-In: 3 PM / Check-Out: 10:30 AM 

We kindly request that guests planning to check in before 3 PM or after 5 PM provide us with 24 hours notice so that we can adequately prepare for your arrival.

PARKING

Ashlea House offers complimentary parking for our guests, conveniently located at the front of the house off Falkland St.

GENERAL INFORMATION

BREAKFAST

Breakfast is a communal affair, served in our grand dining room at 8:30 AM. Enjoy a delightful three-course gourmet meal with fellow guests. If you have any dietary restrictions or allergies, please let us know when you make your reservation, and we will be happy to accommodate your needs.

SMOKING

Ashlea House is a non-smoking property. This policy applies to all traditional smoking methods, as well as electronic devices such as e-cigarettes and vape pens. Smoking in guest rooms, public areas, or within 20 feet of the property will incur an additional $300 cleaning fee.

SECURITY

All guests receive a personalized code for entering and exiting the property, as well as accessing their rooms. Please note that we are not responsible for personal items left in guest rooms or vehicles.

GUEST RESPONSIBILITY 

While we understand that accidents can occur, guests at Ashlea House agree to be held financially responsible for any excessive damage caused by gross negligence.
